Built in 1926 in the Beaux Arts style, Hotel Montalembert was one of the first boutique hotels in Paris and is an historic landmark on the Left Bank of Paris.

After a thorough and meticulous restoration and refurbishment in 1990, it became part of the prestigious Majestic Hotel group in 2005.

The name Montalembert comes from Charles Forbes Montalembert, a famous politician, writer and member of the prestigious Academie Française.

Food & beverage

Comfortable grey and taupe cushions, beige linens and oak wood all add to the elegant feel of the restaurant. A wide range of dishes come under 4 main categories: Terre, Mer, Végétal, and Soleil, available in either “dégustation” or “gourmet” size. The guests will appreciate the monthly change of the whole selection and the innovative cuisine of the Chef Eric Brujan.
The "Salon Gallimard", named after the famous publishing company in the neighbourhood, is dedicated to private functions for up to 10 people. For all meetings up to 20 people, the “Salon Correspondent”
For business rendezvous, tea time or an evening drink, the library and its fire place offers an intimate and cosy corner.
When spring rolls around, the terrace becomes the ideal place to enjoy lunch or dinner in a peaceful atmosphere.
